Reporting and Exporting Data

Smart Service Cloud provides the ability to export your data for reporting, and this option is available on several screens across the program. Your user profile will need to have the “Reports” permission in order to access these reporting functions.

The “Work Order” center is being used for the following example, but the following process works for all similar screens in Smart Service Cloud. Make sure you’re in the “Grid” view to best take advantage of these features!

You can use the column headers to filter down the information you want to export for reporting by clicking on them. Remember that there are a lot of different columns available, so you can scroll through them and filter accordingly.

At the top of the screen, you have a “Report” button which will export the filtered data in a method of your choosing.

Most commonly this data is exported as a .csv (Spreadsheet) that you can observe in Excel or Google Sheets.

Smart Service Cloud relies on the reporting power of Excel. Once you’ve exported your data to a spreadsheet, you can use Excel to sort, total, or create charts representing your data. If you’re new or inexperienced with Excel, you can review some of the most popular functions from Excel in this Microsoft Support article.
